Another doll sketch… I think I don’t have the patience for this sketching. it’s evident in the slack way I do my shading (witness the three day growth!). I’m more used to drawing up a quick outline to paint over. I guess these aren’t supposed to be ‘finished’ art and I’m much more excited about the oil painting I’ve started. Sadly I’ve been exercising this afternoon and out all night so all I had time for was this 10 minute sketch… which is better than nothing. The weekend was filled with kid duties, napping and other work (and a spot of painting) so hopefully tomorrow I’ll get a chance to paint some more.
