I bought this little lady from ebay a couple of weeks ago.

She was a bit tired and faded looking, but she had an almost perfect face, and was very pretty. 

So I took her apart - horrified to find she was made predominantly of straw and paper. 

and with the help of some skin toned lycra, pure wool felt, faux fur and vintage trim... 

She became much more to my liking.

Her boots are my favourite!
 

I may still add a little vest, and do something different with her hair.
