Oh, how I wish I had this as a supersized poster. Still very happy with my score though!

I didn't know it was illegal to take tadpoles from a dam until *after* my 13 year old cousin had delivered the frog spawn to me and I'd taken it home after a day in the country with the boys.
We must be doing something right because they all spawned and they're all growing at a massive rate.

They're twice as big as this now and about half of them have been transferred to a pond in the backyard which was specifically bought for the purpose. I hope they're cute frogs!

Aflush with the making of Mirabelle I decided to make something more boy friendly.
Meet Bunner:

I couldn't really get a good photo of him. I think he looks better tucked into someone's arms.
He's quite a dapper chap in his waistcoat and tie, but I think I need to do something more with his face.

I was so thrilled when I found this at the op shop. Even the boys like it. I don't know anything about Robert Lyons, except for a couple of other mentions of him in blogs/flickr.
How cool is this cat?

And the print's not bad either, eh? :-) -- No seriously, excuse my weird face... I had a mouthful of crispbread that I was trying not to chew when I took this photo on my webcam to send to my husband - (that should bring some hits "mouthful webcam husband")
Here's a scan of it, sans bottom bit, but complete with ants that set up home in my scanner - can you believe that!!! Ants are now all dead, but not gone - they were INSIDE it!

Robert Lyons Cat Print
Thanks for looking.
