I've found a new way to bring you throw cushions without actually having to sew them all myself! These aren't as fancy as my handmade ones, and they don't come with an insert, but the price is right and I think they look pretty cool.

You can get them from Society6 along with other prints and cushions.

So last weekend I had big ambitions to make six of these, however I only made 2. Why? I had to oil the sewing machine and I had some web work on so my time was kind of fractured. Am I going to finish them this weekend? Probably not... but hey, what would life be without a long 'to do' list!

The birth of kitsch...

I stumbled upon a little pile of colorful eggs this morning. I had just enough time to grab my camera before these adorable little trinkets began to hatch from their cocoons.

One by one a little Kitschy Bead Doll revealed itself.

I quickly gathered them up and started to list them in my shop. If you like one here and it's not in the shop, ask me... I may not have listed it yet. Or I can make you a special one.

Each doll is packaged in its special egg for a safe trip to you.

Now I must go, I crashed whilst playing 'cross over, red rover' or some such childish game on rollerblades this morning and have a very sore and swollen right hand ring finger for my troubles. I really should act my age.

On my desk...

Yep... I'm a pig. This is my desk right at this point in time. It's not one of those just tidied up with things strategically placed to look cool kind of 'on my desks', although I did move that coffee cup out of the way! this is pretty much what it always looks like, except when I've just tidied up (~~which *will* happen, as soon as I blog this~~...oh look, spicks and specks is on). I'm very busy and important, ok!?

What I *am* pleased with, that you can see on my desk (above) and in a much prettier photo (below), is my hot off the presses postcards. I had them professionally printed and then cellosheened - they look hot! (if you like that kind of thing).

You can get yourself a set in the shop! and write sweet notes to your snail mail friends... or strew them all over your desk like I have :-) By the way, if you do decide to buy some, my shipping calculator can't calculate for such lightweight items. Postage is 50 cents in Australia, $1.00 overseas. We'll sort it out, OK?
